What ages is Kudos Chart designed for?
Kudos Chart is designed for kids ages 4–12, but families with children of any age can benefit from the star-and-reward system. If your child is motivated by earning stars and working toward rewards, Kudos Chart will work great for your family.
Is Kudos Chart free?
Yes! The free tier includes 5 active tasks, 3 custom rewards, and access to stars, streaks, levels, Kudos Bank, and the parent dashboard. Premium unlocks unlimited tasks, rewards, and additional features.
How does the free trial work?
New users get a 7-day free trial of all premium features. After the trial ends, the app reverts to the free tier. No payment is required to start the trial.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open your device's Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. You'll see Kudos Chart listed there. You can change or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Kudos Chart, navigate to the paywall (try creating a task beyond the free limit), and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the screen.
How does iCloud sync work?
iCloud sync is a premium feature. When enabled, your tasks, rewards, and progress sync automatically across all devices signed into the same Apple ID. Make sure iCloud is enabled in your device settings.
Can multiple family members use the app?
Yes! Premium users can set up family sharing to sync data between a parent device and a child's device. The parent device manages tasks and rewards, while the child device shows their progress.
Troubleshooting
My data isn't syncing between devices
Make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID, connected to the internet, and have iCloud enabled (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud). Sync may take a few minutes. Try closing and reopening the app.
My subscription isn't being recognized
Tap "Restore Purchases" on the paywall screen. If the issue persists, check Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions to verify your subscription is active. If you subscribed on a different Apple ID, you'll need to sign in with that account.
I forgot my parent PIN
The parent PIN is stored locally on your device. If you've forgotten it, you'll need to delete and reinstall the app. Note that this will reset all local data. If you have iCloud sync enabled, your data will sync back after reinstallation.
